Thank you for choosing Privet Server for your hosting needs! This guide will help you get started quickly.

What You'll Receive

After your order is processed, you'll receive an email containing:

• Control Panel URL: Access link to Plesk or cPanel
• Username: Your login credentials
• Password: Temporary password (change immediately)
• Server IP Address: Your server's IP
• Nameservers: DNS servers to point your domain

First Steps

1. Access Your Control Panel

For Plesk Users:

• Visit: https://cloud.privetserver.com:8443
• Login with your provided credentials

For cPanel Users:

• Visit: https://yourserver.privetserver.com:2083
• Login with your provided credentials

2. Change Your Password

For security, change your password immediately:

Plesk:

1. Click your profile icon (top right)
2. Select "Edit Profile"
3. Enter new password
4. Click "OK"

cPanel:

1. Click "Password & Security"
2. Enter new password
3. Click "Change Password"

3. Point Your Domain

Update your domain's nameservers:

Primary: ns1.privetserver.com
Secondary: ns2.privetserver.com

DNS propagation: 24-48 hours

4. Upload Your Website

• File Manager (in control panel)
• FTP/SFTP client (FileZilla recommended)
• Git integration
